Dominican Republic. Yes!

Dominican Republic is probably one of the best countries to visit in the Caribbean. Of course its size give it a great advantage. There are plenty of mountains, beaches, colonial sights, and very friendly people. And parties - almost on par with the street parties in Antigua and Jamaica. I was fortunate to see the capital, Santo Domingo with its handful of monuments, and the fortress-like Punta Cana, which I did not particularly enjoy. But nearby, I tried a local party in Bavaro, which was a great place to meet the locals, try local drinks and boogie. And watch how well local Dominicanas can shake their booties.
