Guatemala. Chocolate.

When I got lost in Tikal, I knew that I was in the jungle! When one of the great Mayan pyramids appeared before me unexpectedly, I almost felt like on the set of Mel Gibson’s ‘Apocalipto’. It was thrilling and it felt like an adventure. Particularly when rumour had it that it wasn’t quite safe to wander around the jungle there like that. Guatemala is superb. Excellent architecture, mystic ruins, breathtaking landscape, funny people...
