Nevis. Charming.

Nevis is federated with Saint Christopher or St Kitts. But most of its fortunes depend on an autonomous government, who rules the island. It is a delightful little place with a volcano in the middle, and plenty of Victorian and Victorian-Tropical architecture concentrated in the capital capital, Charlestown. Nevis has a couple of high profile resorts hidden away from public eye, and a couple of nice little beaches with free public access. One disappointment - too many Chinese restaurants and too few Caribbean eateries.
