New Zealand.

New Zealand is considered one of the most attractive countries in the world, for its beauty, wilderness and scarce population.  My first trip there was to south island’s Queenstown and Milford Sound.

I did not expect to see so much snow there. And I thought it was going to be so cold. For mid November, the second half of spring, I thought 7C was a bit chilly. But the locals did tell me that it was rather unusual. it was snowing in the mountains!

Queenstown was pretty, full of life and dramatically located at the lake amongst the snowy peaks. Yet, the highlight of the trip was the 45 minutes flight over the Southern Alps to Milford Sound in a light aircraft. The light was breathtaking and the fjord was exceptionally picturesque.
