Qatar. Rising.

I did not expect much from Qatar and it positively surprised me. Doha had a dramatic skyline in the making, experimenting with architecture. And the old town was full of restaurants, teahouses and coffee shops.

In a few years, when the World Cup eventually comes to Qatar in 2022, the country will have developed further, making it one of the best destinations to visit in the Gulf and, potentially, even invest in a second home.
