Saint Vincent. Quirky.

Saint Vincent's new Argyle International Airport, was scheduled for completion mid 2014, but locals told me that this may not actually happen for a few years. At the beginning of January 2014, the runway was not even paved yet. When it eventually opens, it will be less convenient to get to the capital and Villa, as the journey would be at least 25 minutes by car, some 20 minutes longer than today.

Kingstown, the capital, had a few interesting buildings and cobblestone alleys and plenty of arched and covered walkways. One distinctive feature of the capital was its KFC restaurant - it did not sell Pepsi or Coca-Cola but a rather vile drink instead.
