People of Zambia told me that they think of themselves as Zambians, first of all. Only then they reveal their ethnic identity. This, they believe (and I agree), secured peace in this oddly shaped state. Zambia is safe, great for backpacker travel, offers superb wildlife experiences and unrivaled views of the Victoria Falls.
